As the name suggests, seamless pipes are made without a weld joint or a seam. They have a uniform structure and strength throughout. Seamless pipes are designed to withstand the corrosive atmosphere, high pressure, temperature, and stress. These carbon steel pipes are manufactured in straight units of single or double lengths. Sometimes they are also manufactured in a fixed size.
We use the drawn-on Mandrel method to build seamless pipes. It is also known as the Cold Drawn Process. These manufacturing processes help to provide a smooth interior and exterior to the pipes and enhance their dimensional tolerance. The tubes are treated in hot chambers to achieve the required mechanical characteristics. To put it straight, they are stress relieved, normalized, and tempered as per grade requirements and specifications. To achieve the necessary accurate straightness in seamless pipes, we use multiple roll straightening equipment.

Industrial Uses & Applications of Seamless Pipes
Do you know where seamless pipes are extensively used? Cryogenic pressure vessels, piping, and other systems typically use seamless tubes. In addition, the seamless pipes are also used in high-pressure equipment, boilers, heat exchanger tubes, air preheaters, steam release pipes, air cooler tubes, steam trap piping, and more.
Industries such as shipbuilding, power plants, refineries, chemical factories, steel plants, and fertiliser industries use seamless steel pipes for various processes. The seamless pipes are highly versatile and a favourable option in several heavy machine industries.
